Donor Privacy Policy

KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION, understands your concerns about privacy and your interest in knowing how your information is used and safeguarded when you make a donation to us, and we want to give you more information on these topics. We also developed this Donor Privacy Policy (the “Giver Policy”) to provide our donors with full detail about our processes, policies and protocols about all the details we receive from them when they make a donation. Please notice that this Donor Policy extends to all details obtained in support to online and offline donations. We may update this policy on donors from time to time so please review this policy on donors regularly for changes. At the end of this paper is noted the day this Donor Policy was last revised. If we make any significant improvements to this Donation Policy, we will make every effort to contact you via the email address and/or postal address you might have provided us with. The Information We Collect From Donors:

The only personal information that we collect from donors is the information that is voluntarily provided to us. For example, if you opt to make a donation by “clicking” the “donate” button on our website, or if you donate to us via Facebook, Impact guru , ketto or we will collect (or collect any other website or venue on our behalf) such personally identifiable information, including your name , email address, postal address and payment information, from some of the other websites or venues in which we partner. In regard to processing your donations – whether or not processed through a third-party payment processor – the payment information you provide to us will only be used to process your donation. If you want to make a regular donation, then you can save the necessary payment information to allow future donations; otherwise your payment information will not be saved or used for any other purpose. Please note that we do not sell, rent, exchange, transfer or otherwise make available the names and personal information of our donors to any other organization or individual except as set out below under the heading “How We Can Share Your Information .”Additionally, we do not send emails to our donors on behalf of other organizations or entities.



How We May Share Your Information:

KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION works with a variety of third-party partners in order to allow us to solicit, collect, and process your donations. As an example, in order to process payment/donation transactions that occur on our website located at www.roadsidefamilyfoundation.org. Therefore if you donate to us via our website we will share your details with you to process your donation. Except as stated in this Donor Policy, we do not reveal personally identifiable information about you to third parties for their independent use unless: (1) it is necessary to allow KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION and it’s service providers or agents to provide services on behalf of KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION , or (2) it is necessary in connection with a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION or the merger of KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION into another entity or any consolidation, share exchange, combination, reorganization, or like transaction in which KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION is not the survivor, or (3) otherwise as KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION Trust is required or permitted to do so for any or all of the following reasons:comply with a summons, court proceedings, a subpoena from the government or some other legal duty or (ii) investigate or prosecute criminal offences



Changes to Our Donor Privacy Policy:

By reviewing this article we reserve the right to update this Donor Policy at any time. Please check back periodically to see if any changes have been made to this policy and can be determined by checking the Effective Date mentioned below. You consent to be bound by the new Donation Policies by continuing to donate to us after those changes become successful


Donation Refund Policy :

KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. CARE India expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION will examine request for refund of donation and endeavor to make the refund. KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION may also seek proper explanation and reason from the user. Also, it will require further verification of the user and need documents of proof as well as for donation.

KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

Your refund request must contain the details such as Date of Donation, Amount of Donation, Mode of Donation i.e. Credit Card or Online Payment and should reach CARE India office within 7 (Seven) days from the date on which you made the donation i.e.:1The date on which you Made the donation online, electronically or through other means, OR

The date on which you Handed over the cheque / demand draft to KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION or someone authorised by KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION for this purpose, OR

1.The date on which you Despatched the cheque / demand draft to KARMO DHARMA FOUNDATION by other means.

2.The refund process may take time 7 to 30 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment Gateway, Banks, etc. through which transaction is done.
